You do not need to let your employer know you are receiving treatment for substance use or mental health reasons. You may be able to request medical leave under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
Different levels of care may support your recovery, but it depends on your personal needs. It doesn’t mean your addiction is “worse” if you enter inpatient treatment. What matters is selecting a program that you can complete and that sustains your sobriety.
Your length of stay depends on treatment needs and insurance coverage. You will have input into this decision with your clinical team. Our goal is for you to receive the best possible treatment.

Family support is often essential to establishing a life of sustained recovery. Your family members may participate in family therapy or other activities to support your recovery.
